Norwegian "tiger cub" appears on list of best paid US hedge fund managers

With an income of USD 470 million (EUR 431 million), Norwegian born asset manager Andreas Halvorsen made top ten of the best paid hedge fund managers in the US last year, according to a list created by Bloomberg. Halvorsen is CEO and founder of Viking Global Investors.

In total, the 15 best-paid hedge fund managers in the United States earned USD 12 billion (EUR 11 billion) in 2019. The amount is almost twice as much as gamblers lost in Las Vegas last year.
