Former NBIM and Odin managers establish new AM firm

Nina Hammerstad from NBIM joins forces with five breakaway managers from Odin Forvaltning to engage in active asset management. "For the active industry, the challenge is that many actors do not detach themselves enough from the index they are measured up against," she says.

October brought the news that Nina Hammerstad, (44) who, among other accomplishments, was responsible for building up the global real estate effort for the Government Pension Fund of Norway, had resigned from her position. Now, the news is that she is to be an active asset manager for the firm REQ Capital.
