Sampension hires new head of Communication

Pia Lykke is to be the new Chief Information Officer at Sampension, the pension fund states in a press release. She will start on April 1, replacing Klaus Fridorf who has changed jobs to Nordea. Lykke has a background as debate editor and press consultant at the Danish Agriculture and Food Council. Until 2014, she was a Børsen executive for seven years as journalist and editor. Furthermore, she was responsible for communication in IT company Oracle from 2002-2006, where she became Nordic CCO. During 2006-2007 she was head of communications at engineering company Grontmij/Carl Bro. "I'm very much looking forward to joining Sampension, and I'm looking forward to strengthening Sampension's position on the market by, for example, promoting the many positive narratives that can be found throughout the Sampension conglomerate and its clients," Lykke says in the press release.

SEB snatches manager from well-known Danish financier

SEB brings in an experienced financier with an international profile as head of the bank's Danish department for corporate and investment banking. 43-year-old Kristian Skovmand receives the official title of Head of Investment Banking and Deputy Head of Large Corporates & Financial Institutions. He comes from a position with a somewhat shorter job title. The past few years he has been the leading partner in investment and advisory firm C.P. Dyvig & Co. I have followed SEB for many years, and I have deep respect for the journey of growth that has led SEB in Denmark to go from start-up to leading corporate and investment bank during the past 20 years. SEB has a strong team, and I get an exciting position in the cross field between investment and corporate banking. With my background and my knowledge of SEB, this is the perfect position in the perfect financial institution for me," Skovmand writes in an email to FWAM.

AP Pension appoints Bo Normann Rasmussen as new CEO

The board of directors at AP Pension has decided to appoint Bo Normann Rasmussen as CEO, the pension fund announces in a press release. He has previously served as deputy on the post after Søren Dal Thomsen's resignation in December last year. Rasmussen has worked for AP Pension for 10 years, first as controlling actuary, and for the past six years as manager and executive officer on the management team. Rasmussen is a qualified actuary from the University of Copenhagen. Before he came to AP Pension in 2006, he worked for two years as vice president at PensionDanmark, and then three years as vice president at PFA Pension. "AP Pension is a strong, client owned pension fund, and I'm looking forward to leading the company and strengthening its market position in the coming years. Competition is intense between pension funds, and what really matters is to always provide value to our clients," Rasmussen says.

Chairman at Copenhagen Capital under suspicion of stock manipulation

Chairman of the board of directors at public real estate investment firm Copenhagen Capital, Dag Kaj Schønberg, is under suspicion of stock manipulation due to his role in Dansk OTC Invest. Also the husband of Lisbeth Bak, CEO at Copenhagen Capital, Jesper Bak, has been reported, according to Børsen. The Danish Attorney General's office for fraud and economic crimes reports to the newspaper that the case is under investigation after the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority reported Dansk OTC and Dansk OTC Invest for stock manipulation. The suspicion stems from stock trade with public IT company Mermaid, which is reportedly guilty of attempts at stock manipulaiton.
