Nordea Liv & Pension lures Danske man for new top governance role

In a bid to sharpen its focus on investment governance, Nordea Liv & Pension has picked a top candidate from a large competing bank to fill a newly-created position.

Nordea Liv & Pension is increasing its focus on governance and active ownership within its investments, and with this in mind, has created a new position in the investment department. To fill the new role of Head of Investment Governance & Affairs, Nordea has hired Thomas Hyldahl F. Kjærgaard, who comes from the position of Head of Responsible Investments at Danske Bank.

Thomas Kjærgaard's primary task will be within governance, which in this case means voting poliices and active ownership in general across asset classes.
