Danske Bank's Private Equity team has been on quite a ride since the pair heading up investment. John Danielsen and Peter Thellufsen -- who led Danske Bank's Private equity arm for years -- resigned early last June.
In September a further two partners from the original cast crew also stepped down: Michael Maigaard, who had worked for Danske for 11 years, and Klaus Friis, who had been with the bank since 2001. The only person left on partner level is Dan Kjerulf, who comes from the corporate finance legal sector originally. Danske declines to comment on whether the two most recent partners to depart resigned or were asked to leave.
