The latest qualitative report from WWF Denmark -- the Danish arm of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) -- on how pension funds integrate climate issues in their investment decisions shows that funds are increasingly taking green issues into account.
"Climate has moved higher up on the agenda of the Danish pension funds. Several funds have had a wake up call since we initiated our reporting back in 2013 and it is now very clear to see that a development is taking place in the form of new initiatives, statements etc. The mere fact that there are new statements and action from the funds since we finished collecting responses for the report shows that things are moving at a faster pace than previously," Hanne Jersild, Senior Advisor at WWF Denmark and author of the report tells AMWatch.
