Danske Private Equity Partners is cutting fees on its existing funds and on a new fund. "We are moving towards a cost-plus model," the new PEP team tells AMWatch.

The new team at Danske Private Equity Partners, part of Danske Bank, is lowering the fees on several existing funds and on its new offering -- Danske PEP 2018.

The firm tells AMWatch it has been listening to the wishes and worries of clients, with one of the main concerns in private equity these days being costs -- especially on fund-of-funds. So the prices had to be reduced somehow. This will happen in two steps, the team says: Reduction of management fees and more frequent use of co-investing.
