New direct lending fund from Capital Four in first loan deal

Danish credit boutique Capital Four has launched a new private debt fund, Strategic Credit II. The fund, that operates in Scandinavia and Northern Europe, is raising capital until May 2019, but is already providing bespoke debt.

Until recently, Capital Four had 18 different funds and other investment vehicles on its inventory. Now the credit boutique, which was founded 11 years ago, is adding an extra fund to the list — the direct lending fund, Strategic Credit II.

The new fund focuses on direct lending — complementing bank financing and providing senior secured and uni-tranche debt.
