For many institutional investors, the current decade has been a time of investment in infrastructure investment. Wind farm projects, solar power plants and other renewable energy facilities have seen billions of Euros flowing their way from pension funds.
But the next big thing could be outside the energy sphere, says Peter Damgaard Jensen. He is chair of the board at the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC), an organization which represents more than 150 members with more than EUR 21 trillion in assets. He is also CEO of the Danish pension service provider PKA.
