PE investor happy with return on EUR 200 million property sale

Sweden's Heimstaden went on a property buying spree in Denmark, buying a large portfolio from Danish PE real estate investor Thylander Gruppen ­ whose founder says the deal has given its investors a "satisfactory return".

Danish property investor Thylander Gruppen is reaping EUR 200 million on the sale of a portfolio consisting of about 1,400 properties, 50 commercial leases and nearly 1,000 parking spaces to Swedish property investor Heimstaden, which is controlled by Norwegian billionaire Ivar Tollefsen, Thylander Gruppen writes in a corporate announcement.
