Bank of Finland to increase scrutiny of external managers following UN PRI pledge

The Finnish central bank is second central bank in the world to sign UN PRI, which will impact its investments, board member tells AMWatch.

The Bank of Finland has signed the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) to commit to recognizing environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues in its investment practices. The bank's new sustainability program, which accompanies the commitment to PRI, was published yesterday.
