US manager expands Nordic presence through Swedish investment

A US-based alternative investment manager has invested in Swedish firm to expand its presence in the Nordic region.

US-based alternative investment manager Castlelake has made a USD 150m (EUR 140m) investment in Swedish lender IMH Finans, according to a statement forwarded to AMWatch.

Castlelake manages roughly USD 21bn (EUR 19.7bn) across real assets, specialty finance and aviation. In the Nordics, one of Castlelake’s most well-known transactions was announced in December 2021, when it sold its Danish real estate company Bostad and its entire portfolio in Denmark to pension fund AP Pension.
