Aktia CEO puts commodities above other asset classes

Aktia chief executive Mikko Ayub believes the commodities space has potential for more upside after being one of the few asset classes to flourish during the tumultuous first half of 2022.

One of the most attractive asset classes with the most potential for the remainder of 2022 is commodities, says CEO of Finland’s Aktia Mikko Ayub.

“The year has not been easy so far and I do not believe the remainder of it will be in any way trivial either. One asset class above all others this year is commodities. If you look at commodities, be it energy, metals, agricultural commodities or precious metals, these are up by nearly 20% YTD in dollar terms,” Ayub says to AMWatch, referring to Bloomberg data.
