Challenging markets take bite out of Finnish pension giant's investment portfolio

All asset classes in Ilmarinen’s investment portfolio apart from one recorded negative returns during the first half of 2022.

After last year -- one of the best ever for Finnish pensions giant Ilmarinen with a total return of 15.3% -- the company has now recorded a negative half-year result.

Returns stood at -6.2% for the first half of 2022 of which -4% was in Q2 while the returns fell by by 2.2% in the first quarter.
