From advisory to business development: Ex-Kirstein consultant settles into new role

At Kirstein, Andreas Stoltenberg advised asset managers on how to grow in the Nordics. He now finds himself on the business development side at a wealth manager with what he describes as ”state of the art” external manager selection, eager to utilize to insight he has preached for the past decade.

After nearly 30 years in business, Copenhagen-based asset management consultancy Kirstein closed earlier this year.

Consequently, a group of consultants that know the Nordic investors like a sector analyst knows its companies suddenly had to find new ways to utilize their market insights. 31-year-old Andreas Stoltenberg was one of them.
