Nordic fund management lags behind on equality despite progress made in three countries

Although the Nordics are often hailed as a leader in gender equality, the region’s fund management industry is clearly not as advanced as certain Asian and Mediterranean countries are in terms of the representation of women in fund management, Citywire’s Alpha Female Report 2022 indicates.

Whilst the percentage of female fund managers increased in Sweden, Denmark and Norway in 2021, in Finland the ratio experienced minor decline, Citywire’s Alpha Female Report 2022 concludes.
