Aker rebrands asset management arm and launches two investment firms

A new asset management platform focusing on climate transition assets across four asset classes has been launched in Norway. The platform’s two first investment firms are already operational while two additional companies will be revealed soon.

In December 2021, Norwegian industrial investment company Aker ASA. announced that it had hired Yngve Slyngstad, former CEO of the Norwegian oil fund, as Managing Director, and given him a mandate to establish an asset management division.
