European funds hit five months of consecutive outflows - but Article 9 products continued to ride a positive wave

On the bright side, the last time European-domiciled funds had five consecutive months of net outflows, a prolonged period of net inflows followed.

Europe-domiciled investment funds experienced EUR 66bn of net outflows in September 2022, making it the worst monthly result in terms of flows since March 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the world like wildfire.
