BlackRock buys African wind farm shares from Nordic investors
Kenya’s Lake Turkana Wind Power will be the first investment of BlackRock’s Climate Finance Partnership, says David Giordano, Global Head of Renewable Power at BlackRock Alternatives.

BlackRock and Finnfund have agreed that the Finnish development financier will sell its shares in Kenyan onshore wind farm Lake Turkana to an alternative investment vehicle managed by BlackRock.
