Sampo board proposes to demerge and list asset manager Mandatum 

The Finnish insurance group has decided to demerge subsidiary Mandatum. The board suggests a listing of the EUR 16bn asset manager.

The largest Nordic insurance group, Sampo, proposes to demerge subsidiary Mandatum this year. The group’s board also suggests that the asset manager be listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, Sampo writes in a stock exchange release.
