Norges Bank excludes two Asian companies

Norway’s gigantic oil fund has decided to exclude two Asian companies from its investment portfolio. The companies collaborate with an organization affiliated with the military in Myanmar, it says.

The executive board of Norges Bank has decided to exclude two Asian gas companies from the investments of the Government Pension Fund Global. The so called oil fund is no longer allowed to invest in Indian gas company GAIL India Ltd and Korean gas company Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS).
