Varma pulls in positive return and fixed income comes back on track

In Finland, the green transition has translated into investment projects, says Risto Murto, President and CEO of Finnish pension giant, Varma, which published its Q1 results Friday.

The investments of Finland’s Varma Mutual Pensions pulled in a positive return of 1% in the first quarter of the year. Assets under management reached EUR 56.6bn, up from EUR 56.2bn at the end of 2022.
