OP plans to upgrade funds and launch new dark green fund

Finland’s OP Asset Management envisions launching a new dark green fund later this year, CEO Tuomas Virtala says. The company is also in the process of upgrading some of its investment products as Article 8 funds according to the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), and is determined to avoid downgrading its Article 9 funds like some of its peers have done.
