Finnish regulator bans fundraising firm for marketing without license

The Finnish supervisory authority says Ermitage Partners promoted alternative investment funds despite not having the required license yet – but the fundraising boutique disagrees.

The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) has prohibited Ermitage Partners from providing investment services after claiming the company was marketing its services before completing the process of being authorized to do so.
