PFA loses faith in its own energy island

Denmark’s largest commercial pension company recognizes that it is unlikely that an energy island will be built on the extensive scale proposed by the Vindø consortium.

The world has changed on several fronts since the Vindø consortium was established in the spring of 2020. Back then, the energy island in the North Sea was originally launched as an almost mythical dream island with room for everything. Among other things, a harsh economic reality has materialized in both in the wind turbine industry and in politics.
