Leading Swedish pension firms may be open to investing in nuclear energy

Sweden’s biggest commercial pension firm is already financing the nuclear energy industry. Another major pension company does not rule out doing so.

The Swedish government is planning to expand the country’s nuclear energy capacity in order to facilitate the green transition, and two major pension funds are now declaring themselves open to investing in nuclear power.
