Danske Bank charges investors thousands of kroner for free newsletter and podcast

The Danish FSA states that banks must provide retail clients with ”quality-enhancing service” if the bank receives a brokerage commission. This service must be proportional to the payment.

Investment fund savers at Danske Bank have been charged as much as DKK 12,000 (EUR 1,610) for six podcast episodes a year, which are publicly available to anyone, Danish business daily Børsen reports.
