Swiss manager plans to provide Nordic clients with sports investments

Zurich-based specialist asset manager GAM has been expanding its private market offerings through exclusive partnerships and plans to launch a new fund for Nordic investors later this year.

Swiss asset manager GAM is trying to recover from a failed takeover bid from the UK-based asset manager Liontrust last summer and a scandal from 2018, which caused GAM’s share price to plummet by more than 95%.
