Nordic private equity broke post-crisis records in 2017

Last year turned out to be a solid year for Nordic private equity, containing some post-crisis records, according to a Bergen-based asset manager. The company's CEO expects 2018 to be another strong year for the asset class, but warns of headwinds further out.

Norwegian firm Argentum Asset Management, which invests in Nordic and Northern European private equity funds, has a portfolio consisting of 119 private equity funds including names such as Altor, Axcel and EQT.
