Nordea's raided 'Stars-team" to launch London-based EM fund

London-based fund manager has hired most of the emerging markets equity team that quit Nordea Asset Management in March, including lead portfolio manager Jorry Rask Nøddekær. The "ex stars" are set for new fund launch abroad.

In March, Nordea Asset Management lost most of its Emerging Stars-team. Back then, sources told AMWatch that the team was set to join a London-based independent asset manager. This has now been confirmed.
