NBIM behind climate change framework

To speed up the integration of climate change risk analysis into the management of large pools of assets, a group of six SWFs have recently launched the framework The One Planet Sovereign Wealth Fund Working Group.

Sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) are, by nature, some of the most long-term investors in the financial markets.

So their investment staff must take future risks into account when investing, and one of the most certain -- and potentially biggest -- future risks is related to climate change.
