Nordea mulls development of hedge fund for Stars range

Nordea's head of balanced and alternative products believes that the next generation of hedge funds at the pan-European asset manager could become members of the Stars fund family.

At the moment, financial group Nordea does not offer an ESG-focused (environmental, social and governance-focused) hedge fund — but that status quo is likely to change, according to Claes Roepstorff, the company’s head of balanced and alternative products.

"It is possible that we will develop a hedge fund strategy with an ESG tilt in the future like our Nordea Stars funds," he tells AMWatch in a phone interview.
