PE firm injects pension funds' capital into new insurance company

Private equity firm VIA Equity, whose investors comprise pension funds ATP and PFA, is becoming a part owner of insurance agent Frida Forsikring Agentur and the newly-founded Domus Forsikring. VIA Equity is buying into the two companies with dreams of going beyond borders ­ and a former member of Topdanmark's management team is becoming chairman.
