The Swedish Fund Association reshuffles its board and elects new chairman, Swedish pension fund appoints new CIO and Handelsbanken names Head of Markets. These are some this week's job changes.

The Swedish Investment Fund Association elects new chairman

The chairmanship in the Swedish Investment Fund Association rotates every two years, and for the next two years, it will be Carl Cederschiöld, CEO of Handelsbanken Fonder heading the association. Cederschiöld replaces Maria Rengefors, Head of Nordea Funds, who continues as board member.

At the voting, two new members were elected for the board: Liza Jonson, CEO of Swedbank Robur, was elected vice chairman and Javiera Ragnartz, CEO of SEB Investment Management, will join the association as a board member. The board now consists of:

Pablo Bernengo new CIO at AP3

Pablo Bernengo will become the new Chief Investment Officer at Tredje AP-fonden in Sweden. He comes from a role as CEO at Öhman Fonder. Prior to Öhman, he has worked at DNB Nor, Skandia and Carlson Investment Management.

Pål Bergström new head of Handelsbanken Markets

The current head of Group Compliance at Handelsbanken has accepted a role as the new head of Handelsbanken Markets. The job has been vacant since February when Dan Lindwall started as head of Handelsbanken Capital Markets. Lindwall was acting head of Markets after Per Elcar stopped in October.

Promotion to Investment Manager

PKA AIP has promoted Christopher He to Investment Manager. He joined the company as Senior Associate in June 2018.

Martina Klingvall new board member at ABG Sundal Collier

Founder and CEO at Telness, Martina Klingvall, will become board member of Norwegian investment bank ABG Sundal Collier.

New private banker in Lux

Rasmus Anthonsen has joined Danske Bank International in Luxembourg as international private banker. Anthonsen joins from Sydbank where he has worked for 14 years. He will be working with Danish customers.

Exante Data hires senior advisor 

Exante Data, founded by Dane Jens Nordvig, has hired Brad Setser as senior advisor. Exante Data delivers proprietary data and analytical solutions to professional investors.

Global Head of Business Development stops at Danske

After 14 years at Danske, the Global Head of Business Development, Simon Haldrup, has decided to look for new challenges. Michael Drexelius will replace Haldrup. Drexelius is currently the head of business strategy at Danske and has been with the company since August 2013. Read more about the new head in this article.
