BlackRock: Nordics pioneer asset management product development

Ilmarinen's recent EUR 750m investment in a new ETF launch is only a drop in the growing ocean of tailored solutions with a sustainability twist, as demand surges with Nordic institutions as market leaders. The world's largest asset manager expects allocation towards ESG ETFs to reach USD 440bn by 2028 compared to around USD 25bn today.

Last week, Ilmarinen invested EUR 750m in the recently launched iShares ESG MSCI USA Leaders ETF, one of the largest equity ETF launches in history, by re-allocating the amount from a broad S&P 500 exposure.
