Länsförsäkringar Fondförvaltning names investment cheif from Handelsbanken

Magnus Strömer has become Förvaltningschef, Länsförsäkringar Fondförvaltning. Prior, he worked at Handelsbanken Asset Management as portfolio manager, according to his LinkedIn. He spent 15 years at Handelsbanken in various roles, including Head of Sales, FX and Commodities and Head of Commodities.

Informed Portfolio Management appoints CEO from Barclay Bank

Arne Hassel has been appointed CEO at IPM ­ the Stockholm-based systemtic manager owned by Catella. He previously worked as CIO for Barclays Investment Solutions.

Carnegie Analyst to John Fredriksen

On 1 August, Shipping Analyst from Carnegie will take on a new role as Vice President Finance at Norwegian shipping magnate John Fredriksen’s company Ship Finance. Furuly has worked at Carnegie since 2014 and previously at Nordea and DFDS.

New Senior Risk Manager

1 June is Carsten Jørgensen’s first day with pension fund P+ as Senior Risk Manager. He comes from a role as Lead Software Engineer at Danske Bank.

Head of Real Estate going to Danica

The current Global Head of Real Estate and Corporate Finance at Patrizia Multi Managers has accepted a new role as Chief Portfolio Manager at Danica Pension. He will be responsible for their international real estate portfolio.

New board members at JØP

Danish pension fund JØP has welcomed two new members of the board. The recent election resulted in Helle Munk Ravnborg and Anders Ehlers Andersen replacing Åse Kogsbøll and Peter Løchte Jørgensen. Helle Munk Ravnborg is a Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies and Anders Ehlers Andersen is lawyer and board member.

Pension CEOs join climate panel

Industriens Pension CEO, Laila Mortensen, and the CEO of ATP have joined a new climate panel, established by the Danish Innovation Fund (Innovationsfonden). The panel brings together companies and researchers to invest in projects, helping to solve the world’s major climate and environmental challenges.

AP Pension fires COO

Head of Real Estate Investment returns to previous employer
