Water risk disclosures: a growing issue ignored by companies in AP7's multi-billion portfolio

In the past two years, the topic of climate change has completely drowned the issue of water risk management disclosure improvements which has not had the necessary attention in board rooms, according to AP7 and Sustainalytics that publish a report on the subject today. AMWatch has discussed the development with the companies and whether improvement in 65 percent of the engaged companies are to be considered a satisfactory outcome.

Swedish default pension AP7 and ESG rating agency Sustainalytics have today commissioned a report on water management risk across 299 companies in the fund's portfolio.
