East Capital appoints Assistant Portfolio Manager to sharpen focus on India

East Capital has announced the appointment of Sumeet Bhalla at their Hong Kong office.

Bhalla, who previously worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, will be responsible for providing research on India and ASEAN countries for the Global Emerging Markets Sustainable Strategy.

New PM at PFA real estate

Daniel Voss, former Portfolio Manager at PenSam, has taken on a new role as Portfolio Manager at PFA Ejendomme (real estate). He has been with PenSam for more than 13 years and worked at Nordea Invest before that.

Peter Hansson new Board Member at Nordkinn AM

Peter Hansson has been appointed member of the supervisory board of Nordkinn Asset Management. Hansson is also a member of AP1's supervisory board. In August 2018, Hansson retired after 14 years as CEO of SPK.

Danica brings in Chief PM from Patrizia

Danica Pension has hired Jakob Kær Nielsen as responsible for the company's foreign real estate portfolio. Kær Nielsen has worked at Patrizia Multi Managers for more than seven years, most recently as Associate Director.

Barclay CIO moves to IPM

The hedge fund Informed Portfolio Management (IPM) has appointed Arne Hassel as new CIO. He comes from a similar role as CIO at Barclays Investment Solutions. In the past, he has worked at Coutts Private Bank and Goldman Sachs.
