Alecta CEO calls for improved data on sustainable investing

According to Swedish pension fund's Chief Executive Officer, insufficient data represents a problem in the EUR 85bn fund's ambition to drive corporates in a sustainable direction.

Swedish Alecta is one of the biggest pension funds in Europe and able to influence companies to adopt a more sustainable direction. However, a major challenge in the process of increasing sustainability in the corporate environment is the pension fund's inability to rely on old data. Moreover, the data points that are currently available remain insufficient and ineffective, writes Realtid.se.
