Polhem Infra: "We have an advantage over other infrastructure investors"

The new infrastructure investment company Polhem Infra, which was launched by three Swedish pension funds in spring, is now ready to invest in Swedish and Nordic infrastructure. The new CEO believes Polhem Infra has an advantage over other investors.

After realizing that good returns are hard to get when staying in classic liquid investments such as equities and bonds, and that investing in infrastructure requires manpower as well as coordination, three Swedish state pension funds -  AP1, AP3 and AP4 -  established Polhem Infra: an infrastructure investment branch that aims to increase the exposure of the three pension funds to infrastructure.
