The Danish pensions sector spent EUR 17 billion on foreign bonds last year

At the end of 2019, the Danish pensions sector owned bonds worth DKK 508 billion (EUR 67.9 billion) across the eurozone, according to figures from the Danish central bank.

New figures from the central bank of Denmark, Nationalbanken, show that the Danish pensions sector spent DKK 129 billion (EUR 17 billion) on bonds issued overseas in 2019.
