ESG wave breaks on Danish asset management: "It will hit the whole industry - and is just as influential as MiFID"
Sustainable investments will set the scene for the coming years' success stories and failures among Danish asset managers, a new report shows. Executives at Danish asset managers predict a larger shake up than the transformation caused by the MIFID 2 regulations.
AMWatch's sister site FinansWatch has conducted a survey of 15 Danish asset managers to find out about their predictions for 2020. If their answers are to be believed, net sales will increase significantly and the price squeeze and consolidations will continue. Clients, on the other hand, have a completely different focus.
