Danish FSA orders commercial pension company to improve alternatives reporting

AP Pension has received one of the longest lists of areas for improvement from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority in recent years. The authority wants a more sufficient oversight, reporting and value estimation of alternative investments.

The six-page long report written by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, Finanstilsynet, after its inspection of AP Pension is not easy reading for the pension company. The authority issued 35 improvement orders and 4 particulars of risk to Denmark's fourth-largest commercial pension company after its inspections in January and February 2019.
