Ilmarinen, Danske Bank and SEB rescue scandal-ridden care home chain from looming bankruptcy

Improving care of elderly and disabled seems to have come with a hefty bill at Esperi Care, whose new owners are starting to look for the next investor.

Finnish care home chain Esperi Care, which was embroiled in a care home scandal last year, has been taken over by its lenders Danske Bank, SEB and Ilmarinen due to the “deteriorating financial situation”, the chain announces.
