Independent asset manager posts record result and dividend

Denmark-based BLS Capital, which manages a number of mutual funds with Danish and global equities, achieved its best ever result last year - almost EUR 13.4 million (DKK 100 million) more than in 2018. The asset manager has also distributed its largest ever dividend of over EUR 17.4 million (DKK 130 million).

As a result of the rally in global equity market last year, independent Danish asset manager BLS Capital achieved the best result in its 12-year lifetime. The profit after tax reached EUR 19 million (DKK 143 million), compared to EUR 5.9 million (DKK 44 million) in 2018.
