Finnish state pension fund beefs up exposure to commercial paper

Over the past year, the size of the commercial paper market in Finland has fluctuated between some EUR 4 billion and nearly EUR 6 billion.

The State Pension Fund of Finland (VER) has started beefing up its investments in commercial paper, announces the fund’s CEO, Timo Löyttyniemi. The act is part of the Finnish state’s package to promote and support corporate financing, announced on Monday 16 March.
