Record-breaking deal: Danske Bank's historic headquarters sold for over EUR 268 million

A pension fund is taking over the 15 buildings in central Copenhagen which span a total of 49,000 square meters and have housed Danske Bank since 1874. For the current owner, the sale has been "particularly successful".

One of the most iconic and photographed buildings in Copenhagen, Danske Bank's headquarters at Holmens Kanal, has now been sold for over EUR 268 million (DKK 2 billion). The price breaks records for property deals in central Copenhagen, and has ensured a good profit for the seller.
