Riksbanken maintains interest rate level - but does not rule out lowering it later

Riksbanken reports in a press release that it has not seen any reason to reduce interest rates, as the economic downturn is due to restrictions and fear of catching covid-19.

The Swedish central bank, Riksbanken, is maintaining Swedish interest rates at 0,00 percent as expected. This is completely in line with the bank's announcement in December, when it raised interest rates by 0.25 percent from -0.25 percent.
