Committee wants oil fund to take a stand on economic crime
According to the committee leader, Ola Mestad, the proposal may also affect tax evaders. The committee, which evaluated the oil fund's ethical framework, gave its recommendations to finance minister Jan Tore Sanner.

In April 2019, the government appointed a committee, led by professor Ola Mestad, to evaluate the ethical framework for Statens pensjonsfund utland (SPU, the state foreign pension fund, -ed.).
