Former Nordea and Danske analyst joins new company

Michael West Hybholt, has accepted a new role at the newly started Danish company HC Andersen Capital, which specialize on small cap stocks. He will become Partner and Head of Equity Analysis. Hybholt has previously worked at Nordea, Danske Bank and Handelsbanken among others.

Nordea Asset Management loses EMD portfolio manager

Lamine Bougueroua has started in a new role as emerging markets debt fund manager at Union Bancaire Privée in London. For the past two years, he has been part of the emerging markets debt team at Nordea Asset Management in Copenhagen. Prior to Nordea, Bougueroua worked at First State Investments for four years.

Capital Four snatches Credit Analyst from ABG

In August, André Thormann starts in a new role as Credit Analyst at Capital Four Management. Thormann has worked as an Equity Analyst at ABG Sundal Collier for 1,5 years.

Hjalmar Winbladh leaves EQT Ventures

Founding Partner at EQT Ventures, Hjalmar Winbladh, leaves the company to devote himself to his own projects. For the past five years, he has worked as a venture capitalist and partner at EQT's Young Promising Growth Company.

Alecta’s Head of Legal joins Swedbank

Charlotte Rydin becomes new Chief Legal Officer and Head of Group Legal at Swedbank and joins the Group Executive Committee. She most recently comes from a role as Head of Legal at Alecta. Prior to that, she was, among other things, chief legal counsel at Finansinspektionen and the Swedish National Debt Office. She will start in her new role in January 2021.

Keva’s Director of Legal Affairs joins Finnish Centre for Pensions (ETK)

Karoliina Kiuru will become the new director of legal affairs and a member of the management team at the Finnish Centre for Pensions (ETK). She joins from a role as director of legal affairs at pension fund Keva where she has worked for five years. Kiuru will start in her new role in August.

Jacob Schlawitz resigns from Aon

Nordic CEO Jacob Schlawitz resigned from Aon after 14 years ‘to pursue an opportunity outside the firm.’ Instead, Erik Skoog and Allan Karlsen have been promoted to interim co-chief executive officers of the firm’s business in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Skoog was previously CFO of the Nordics,while Karlsen was CEO for Aon Denmark and COO for the Nordics. Skoog has worked at Aon since 2016 while Karlsen has worked at Aon for five years.

Newsec hires two profiles from Focus Asset Management

Newsec Property Asset Management has hired Mona Ayan and Nicolaj Jensen as senior asset manager and asset manager, respectively. They joined on July 1 as a part of the asset management team pension fund PFA. Both come from Focus Asset Management, where Mona Ayan was fund manager and Nicolaj Jensen worked as asset manager.

Alecta's new real estate arm grows staff by three and plans hiring spree

Alecta Real Estate, which  launched in March, recruits Johanna Boltzius for the role as responsible for transactions, Malin Lövemark as responsible for administration and Karolin Forsling with responsibility for project and urban development. Read more about the new employees in this article.
